Description
100% Chardonnay. From its first vintage of 1932 which won a gold medal at the prestigious ‘Concours Général Agricole de Paris,’ the Bonnaire family has been known as one of the top recoltant-manipulants in Champagne. Bonnaire’s wines are creamy and opulent, with a sleekly polished richness. In the spectrum of Côte des Blancs champagnes, they tend to be on the generous side rather than the racy one, yet at the same time, they retain a firm structure and an intense minerality that reflects Cramant’s chalky soils. This Blanc de Blancs from Cramant is the perfect representation of their house style with it's freshness and white flowers on the nose and a pleasant mineral acidity and superb length on the palate. Bonnaire is re-discovering what made it great so many years ago. A true revitalization.
