56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 9% Cabernet Franc. This vintage of the famed Ornellaia is dubbed Solare after the warm vintage, but you would never know it from the wine. Fine tannins, freshness, and harmony abound in this wine. Being in a large format this bottle has decades of life in front of it.
