100% Pinot Noir. The Boulay family has been harvesting grapes in Sancerre since 1380 with their vines in the famed “crus” of Sancerre, all on Kimmeridgian-centric soils. Unlike many Sancerre Roses, Gerard harvests his Pinot specifically to make rosé by direct press. It is not a selection of young vines as he has no young Pinot vines. This is a very silky rosé.
