80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. Delamotte was founded in Reims in 1760 by vineyard owner François Delamotte, a vineyard owner. At more than 250 years old, it is the fifth oldest house in Champagne. Today, Delamotte and its sibling house, Salon, are under the direction of Didier Depond. This means when Salon does not make a wine in a vintage, those grapes go into Delamotte making it a steal! This rosé comes from only grand cru vineyards and has that classic Delamotte chalkiness with complexity and hint of exotic from the Pinot.
